PERNYATAAN KEPRIHATINAN HATI NURANI RAKYAT

Negara Indonesia sedang mengalami krisis demokrasi, keadilan dan kedaulatan rakyat. Krisis ini, menurut penilaian kami, disebabkan oleh berbagai tindakan politik dan kebijakan yang lebih mementingkan kepentingan pihak tertentu saja.

Prinsip utama demokrasi, bahwa kedaulatan berada di tangan rakyat, dengan nyata sedang dilemahkan dan hanya dikuasai oleh segelintir pihak. Pelemahan demokrasi ini juga berbuntut pada berbagai pelemahan di berbagai bidang kehidupan seperti hukum, ekonomi, sosial dan sebagainya.

Singkat kata, negara ini sedang mengalami berbagai krisis akibat rezim yang berkuasa, baik eksekutif, legislatif maupun yudikatif, tidak menjalankan tugasnya sepenuh hati sesuai tujuan berbangsa dan bernegara Republik Indonesia.

Hal terakhir yang menjadi penanda Indonesia dalam krisis adalah upaya untuk menganulir dua

Putusan Mahkamah Konstitusi (MK). Putusan tersebut adalah Putusan MK Nomor 60/PUU-XXII/2024 yang melonggarkan ambang batas (threshold) pencalonan kepala daerah untuk semua partai politik dan Putusan MK Nomor 70/PUU-XXII/2024 yang mempertegas syarat batas usia pencalonan kepala daerah yang harus terpenuhi pada saat pendaftaran.

Upaya pengabaian Putusan MK tersebut mengundang reaksi keras dalam berbagai bentuk

(misalnya petisi) dan muncul demonstrasi besar di mana-mana. Meski sudah ada janji dari Pemerintah dan Legislatif untuk mematuhi Putusan MK tersebut, tetap saja diperlukan upaya mengawal Pemerintah dan pihak-pihak terkait lainnya untuk memastikan Pemerintah, Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat, Mahkamah Agung, tidak terkecuali Mahkamah Konstitusi sendiri, dan lembaga/institusi terkait mampu dan konsisten dalam menjalankan amanah rakyat yang diemban masing-masing.

Untuk itu, kami, para penulis anggota Perkumpulan Penulis Indonesia (SATUPENA), yang memiliki kepedulian terhadap kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara Republik Indonesia, menyatakan/menuntut hal-hal sebagai berikut:

  1. Pemerintah, DPR, MA, MK, KPU dan pihak-pihak terkait melaksanakan sebaik-baiknya Putusan MK Nomor 60 dan 70.
  2. Meminta Pemerintah dan lembaga/kementerian terkait, juga jajaran legislatif dan yudikatif untuk menjunjung tinggi, menghayati, mengamalkan dan menjamin dilaksanakannya prinsip-prinsip demokrasi dalam praktik kehidupan berbangsa dan bernegara.
  3. Menghilangkan segala bentuk kebijakan dan tindakan yang menguntungkan kepentingan pribadi/pihak/golongan tertentu dan berdampak buruk bagi rakyat, misalnya korupsi, kolusi dan nepotisme (KKN).
  4. Menolak dengan tegas laku politik oligarki otoriter untuk melayani kekuasaan politik dan ekonomi golongan dan kelompok tertentu, yang mematikan proses demokrasi untuk mencapai tujuan keadilan dan kesejahteraan masyarakat.
