Review of the Film “Laskar Pelangi”

Laskar Pelangi is an Indonesian film released in 2008, directed by Riri Riza, based on the best-selling novel by Andrea Hirata. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful yet economically disadvantaged Belitung Island, the story follows a group of children attending an underfunded school in the 1970s.
