Gelar Karya P5 “Bangunlah Jiwa Raganya” yang digelar oleh SMP Darul Mukmin pada 21-22 November 2024 menjadi bukti nyata implementasi pendidikan merdeka dan pembelajaran mendalam atau deep learning. Dengan tema Sehat Jiwaku, Kuat Ragaku, Barokah Ilmuku, kegiatan ini dirancang untuk melatih siswa dalam berpikir kritis, kreatif, serta bertanggung jawab terhadap diri sendiri dan lingkungannya.

Dalam paradigma pendidikan merdeka, siswa tidak hanya menjadi penerima informasi, tetapi juga pencipta pengetahuan. Kegiatan ini memberikan mereka kebebasan untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai gagasan yang diwujudkan melalui karya seni, drama, dan olahraga tradisional. Drama bertema kesehatan mental yang dipentaskan siswa menjadi salah satu daya tarik utama. Melalui pertunjukan ini, siswa menunjukkan kemampuan mereka dalam memahami, menganalisis, dan menyampaikan pesan tentang pentingnya menjaga keseimbangan jiwa dan raga.

Aspek pembelajaran mendalam terlihat jelas dalam sesi team building yang difasilitasi oleh guru pramuka. Dalam sesi ini, siswa dilatih untuk bekerja sama, mengatasi tantangan bersama, dan memperkuat kepercayaan diri. Proses ini tidak hanya mengajarkan keterampilan sosial, tetapi juga menanamkan nilai-nilai seperti kedisiplinan dan tanggung jawab. Setiap siswa belajar memahami peran mereka dalam kelompok, yang merupakan refleksi nyata dari prinsip gotong royong dalam Profil Pelajar Pancasila.

Yani Kosasih, S.Pd., Kepala Sekolah SMP Darul Mukmin, menyatakan bahwa kegiatan ini merupakan kesempatan penting untuk membangun kemandirian siswa. “Anak-anak belajar bertanggung jawab terhadap diri mereka sendiri dan juga teman-temannya. Ilmu yang mereka peroleh menjadi sesuatu yang dapat mereka tunjukkan kepada orang tua dan masyarakat,” ungkapnya. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran berbasis proyek tidak hanya menghasilkan produk kreatif, tetapi juga membentuk karakter siswa secara holistik.
