Let me describe my bedroom to you. It is located on the second floor of my house, next to a large field, allowing a refreshing breeze to flow in when I open my bedroom door. The door is brown and made of wood. Upon entering, I’m greeted by walls painted in a blend of pink and green, a white ceramic-tiled floor, and a white ceiling with a central light fixture.
On the right wall, which is green, I’ve hung several photo strips in neat vertical rows. These are mostly photobox pictures with my friends and family. Below the photos is a small table covered with a pink cloth, atop which sits a plastic storage shelf with three drawers filled with cosmetics, stationery, and other items. On top of this shelf are my self-care products like lotion, serum, sunscreen, and perfume. Beside the table is a light blue two-tier shelf, displaying bouquets from my high school graduation, as well as DIY flowers I crafted myself. Nestled among the flowers is a photo of me with my mother on graduation day, and a frame holding a kindergarten class picture.
Next to this shelf is a pink plastic cabinet with three large drawers and six doors, each adorned with Donald Duck cartoons. I use this cabinet for storing clothes, and on top of it sits a black storage box. To the left of the cabinet is a black standing fan.
Moving to the other side, the wall is pink, featuring a window draped with brown curtains. The next wall, also green, has a medium-sized bed covered with pink sheets patterned with princess characters. A pink blanket with a white checkered pattern is neatly folded at the foot of the bed, along with pillows and bolsters in matching cartoon-themed covers. The headboard is a simple beige foam, and above it hangs a collection of memento photos of my family and friends from junior high to high school, displayed in neat, aesthetic polaroid-style.
Below the polaroid display is a black-framed photo from my elementary school graduation, with several medals hanging beneath it—souvenirs from my elementary and high school graduations. To the left of this frame is a photo of me with two childhood friends, while on the right is a picture of me in a graduation cap from kindergarten.
Finally, on the back of the door, there are three hooks used to hang sling bags and handbags. The overall decor of my room gives a warm, personal feel, with photos and gifts displayed throughout. This room is more than just a bedroom; it’s a living space filled with cherished memories and tokens of gratitude, reflecting my appreciation for life’s little moments and my desire to preserve them.
